Bring Maritime History to Life and Have Fun Doing It

Summer 2014 Training Class now enrolling!

Where can you see 400 years of maritime history and meet people from all over the world? Right here at the Channel Islands Maritime Museum in Oxnard.  And you can bring that history to life for visitors as a volunteer docent. Bring to life famous ships and sea battles; speak of whalers and whaling ships, of Chinese junks and English privateers. Participate in special events and in school education programs.

The Museum conducts frequent training classes. In just a few short weeks you could be a part of making history live, having fun, and doing something good for everyone.
